FLU PREVENTION 101

Colds, strep and flu are here! Follow these basic steps to help avoid getting and passing these bugs: - Clean Your Hands! Hand sanitizer or soap & water. -Clean high touch surfaces with antibacterial products. -Eat a Balanced Diet! Add vitamin C, zinc, immune boosters. -Drink Water! 8 glasses a day. -Cover your Coughs and Sneezes—into the bend of your arm. -Get Plenty of Sleep! -Stay out of class/work if you have a Fever. Return when you have been Fever-Free for 24 hours. -Treat symptoms: acetaminophen or ibuprofen, decongestants, cough suppressants, chicken soup . -See a Dr. if you have a fever 101 or higher, if you can’t keep anything down or if your symptoms are not gradually improving. - Get A FLU SHOT! It’s not too late!!
